Tampa Bay Martial Arts Academy, Inc. has been in Apollo Beach since January 1998. We have served the community with not only Karate, MMA and After School but also life skills. These are the life skills we all desire like respect, self-control, and self-confidence.



Our Staff...

Master Rusty Solomon



Rusty Solomon started his martial arts training in 1971 in Tae Kwon Do. Then in 1981 studied Tang Soo Do at Chuck Norris Karate in Norfolk, Va. In June 2004 he began his training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which now gives him a well rounded view on MMA.

Nancy Solomon

Program Director


Nancy is a 2nd degree black Belt in Tang Soo Do. She is in charge of new student processing and has the best knowlege of the operation of the Karate School. She keeps the operations well organized.
